St.Stephen's School

Welcome toSt. Stephen's Primary School

Dear Parents and Guardians,

On behalf of St Stephen’s, it is my utmost pleasure to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to our prospective children and their families. As the headteacher, I take great pride in presenting our school.

At St Stephen’s, we strive for excellence in all areas of education. Our dedicated team of passionate educators creates a nurturing environment where every child can flourish academically, socially, and emotionally. We foster a love of learning, encouraging all to challenge themselves and reach their full potential.

High standards are at the core of our educational ethos. We have a rigorous curriculum that stimulates critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity. Our skilled teachers provide engaging and inclusive lessons, enabling children to develop a deep understanding of various subjects.

St Stephen’s has been the Number 1 school in the country and has remained  in The Top 10 State Primary Schools in the country for the past decade as listed in The Sunday Times each year. This achievement is testament and tribute to our lovely children, the support of the community, the dedication of a superb team of Governors and a highly effective and intelligent staff team.

St Stephen’s was also recognised by OFSTED with Outstanding outcomes across all areas of the Federation.

Respect is a fundamental value we instill in our school. We celebrate diversity and promote an inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels valued and supported. Our school community is built on mutual respect, kindness, and empathy, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all.

We believe in nurturing aspirations and empowering all to set ambitious goals. Through a range of enrichment activities and opportunities, we encourage children to explore their interests, develop leadership skills, and strive for personal excellence.

As a school with a global outlook, we embrace diversity and encourage an appreciation of different cultures and perspectives. We equip our children with the skills and knowledge to thrive in an interconnected world, fostering a sense of global citizenship.

Finally, our school is proud to uphold British values, including democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect. We promote these values through our curriculum, assemblies, and various activities, preparing children to be responsible and engaged citizens.

Thank you for choosing St Stephen’s for your child's education.

Warmest regards

Ms Neena Lall OBE
