The Eco Garden
The Eco Garden has been part of our school for many years now and is still able to be home to lots of delicious fresh fruit and vegetables. From onions and cabbage, to green beans and carrots, the St. Stephen’s Eco Garden has them all!
Lalita, Mina, the eco team and some other helpers has been taking care of it for a long time now, and trims and waters all the heavenly fresh fruit and vegetables. Each time new plants sown, they are picked, washed and shared with everyone who enjoys healthy living. Some are even given to Sue, our cook, for the salad bar at lunch time!
Thanks to Lalita and Mina, the eco garden is still healthily brimming with fruit and vegetables to this day, and looks magnificently regal in the playground.
We are lucky to enjoy a whole range of fruit and vegetables such as onions, lettuces, strawberries, green beans, peas, tomatoes, potatoes, radishes, spinach, beetroot, carrots, mint and even coriander!
Anyone who wants to help out in the garden is welcome to weed, water or dig in our pride and joy.
