St.Stephen's School

Class 6RF

Welcome to 6RF!

We are delighted and eager to be back at school and ready to take on all the challenges Year 6 has to offer. This year, our teacher is Miss Rebekah Finlay and we are lucky to have the support of Mrs Hazra Thawa, our Educational Assistant. We can be found in a brand new classroom in Room 19.

We are now at the very top of the school and are focused and determined in achieving our goals. We are the role models to the rest of the school and take this responsibility very seriously. To do this we will show resilience in tackling challenging work as well as supporting each other to ensure we all reach our full potentials.

Alongside becoming experts in Maths, Reading, Grammar and Spelling ready for our SATs in May, we are also excited to be exploring creative elements of the Curriculum. This includes expanding our knowledge of plants and animals as part of our Science topics; learning all about Ancient Greece and early Islamic civilisation in History; and improving our understanding of tectonics in Geography. We also can’t wait to explore more of our imaginative and artistic sides with projects based on a variety of inspirational artists and art movements, from contemporary artist John Virtue to the magnificent Benin Bronzes.

We are looking forward to an exciting, hard- working and rewarding last year at St. Stephen’s Primary School!
