St.Stephen's School

Class 6EH

Welcome to 6EH!

Our teacher is Miss Elin Harding, and we are also supported by Mrs Hazra Thawa. We are delighted to be back at school, and are eager to begin our Year 6 learning journey.

During this year, we will be building on our previous learning, and also learning some completely new topics. In English, we will be working on our comprehension and creative writing skills, including an immersive writing experience. In Maths, we will be continuing to practise the four main operations as well as learning new skills such as algebra.

In Geography, we will be looking at a variety of topics including South America, and whilst learning History we will look at London’s historical attractions. Some of our art lessons will focus on Ancient Greece, and we look forward to being able to display our creative flair in these lessons. We are extremely excited to continue with our Spanish learning this year with Rupert, and are delighted he will also be teaching us Music. We also can’t wait for our PE lessons with Ray, and our computing lessons with Shabana.

Year 6 is a very exciting and challenging year. With SATS scheduled for May, we have lots of hard work over the course of the year in order to prepare and revise for these tests. We’re also looking forward to the additional exciting things about Year 6, such as the school production.

We are looking forward to a hard-working, enthusiastic last year in primary school!
