St.Stephen's School

Class 5EW

Welcome to 5EW!

We are all diligent and hardworking members of 5EW who are very much looking forward to the year ahead. This year, we are lucky enough to have two classroom teachers. Our teachers are Esther Williams and Amelia Giudici. Our Educational Assistants are Lalita Varsani and Bindu Metha. Transitioning into upper key stage two is an important time and we are focused and determined in achieving our goals. To do this we will try our best to tackle challenging work with a positive attitude, preserve during all tasks, support each other and be relentless in our goal to succeed. Alongside becoming experts in Maths, Reading, Grammar and Spelling, we are also excited to be exploring creative elements of the Curriculum, including Earth and Space as part of our Science topic; Mayan civilisation in History and improving our map reading skills in Geography. A main focus for us will also be using expression and sharing our ideas confidently and clearly.

Despite an unusual return to school, we are excited and enthusiastic about our year in 5EW and the opportunities this will provide. The ethos and morals within 5EW will encompass all elements of WE CARE. In this class, we will ensure that we look after our wellbeing and the wellbeing of our peers. We will always be courteous and polite, we will show kindness and support each other in everything that we do. We will treat everyone with the utmost respect. We are looking forward to an exciting and exhilarating year ahead!

You can find us in room 18. Please come and say hello and see our wonderful work.

5EW Class Charter

Each class at St. Stephen’s Primary School will complete a class charter, outlining agreements for members of the class and duty bearers (adults). All pupils are entitled to receive their rights. This class charter will form the basis of a display in class, be displayed on the class website page and also be used for class disciplinary matters.
