St.Stephen's School

Class 5CC

Welcome to 5CC - an exceptional class taught by Constance Cooper and ably supported by Lalita Vasani, who knows everything there is to know about St. Stephen’s having worked here for an incredible 19 years.

The move to Upper Key Stage 2 is a significant one and it brings with it increased expectations of focus, independence and responsibility. This year promises to be both exciting and challenging and we are eager to make the most of every learning opportunity in order to reach our full potential.

The year ahead will see us tackling new concepts such as decimals and algebra in maths; really developing our creative writing in English, not to mention honing our spelling, grammar and punctuation skills in preparation for Year 6. We will be learning all about Earth & Space and Forces in Science, immersing ourselves in the Maya Civilization in History and discovering Henry Moore’s shelter paintings during WWII, amongst myriads of fascinating topics.

However, no matter what task we are undertaking, we will follow our class WE CARE charter.  We will always have a positive attitude, learn from our mistakes and aspire to be the best students we can be. We will always be kind, courteous and respectful and ensure that every day is as good as the last.

You can find us in Room 16.

5CC Class Charter

Each class at St. Stephen’s Primary School will complete a class charter, outlining agreements for members of the class and duty bearers (adults). All pupils are entitled to receive their rights. This class charter will form the basis of a display in class, be displayed on the class website page and also be used for class disciplinary matters.
