Class 3VR

A very warm welcome to 3VR! We are excited to start a brand-new chapter of learning, discovery and adventure together at St. Stephen’s School. This year is an important one as we continue our journey into Key Stage 2, taking on new challenges, discovering new interests and developing the skills we need to become confident and independent learners.

3VR is taught by Victoria Ready, with Mehreen Sarwar, our Senior Support Staff. We are proud to be a team that works together to ensure every child has the encouragement, guidance and opportunities they need to succeed. Our classroom is a place where children are encouraged to be themselves, have a go, ask questions and never be afraid to make mistakes.

There is lots to look forward to in Year 3! Our learning will take us across different times, places and subjects, giving us plenty of opportunities to investigate the world around us.

In History, we will travel back thousands of years to explore Ancient Egypt. We will discover what life was like along the River Nile, investigate the beliefs and traditions of the ancient Egyptians and learn about some of the remarkable achievements of this civilization.

Alongside our curriculum, we will continue to develop the skills that help us become successful learners. We will practise working independently, collaborating with others, communicating our ideas, solving problems and persevering when something feels difficult. Most importantly, we will learn that being successful doesn't mean getting everything right straight away — it means being willing to try, learn, improve and try again.

In 3VR, we will also make sure that our classroom is a place where everyone belongs. We will celebrate differences, listen to one another, show kindness and take responsibility for our actions. Our WE CARE Charter will help us to remember the values that guide us every day and encourage us to make positive choices both inside and outside the classroom.

Our classroom is Room 12, and we can't wait to fill it with brilliant learning, fantastic memories and plenty of achievements throughout the year.
