Year 6 vs staff football 2026

One of the most exciting ways to end the school year was our much-anticipated Staff vs Year 6 Football Match! It was a fantastic afternoon filled with enthusiasm, teamwork and plenty of memorable moments.

Key Stage 2 pupils made their way to Clapton Community Football Club to cheer on the teams, creating a brilliant atmosphere with their enthusiastic support. The match was played across four fast-paced mini games, with both the Year 6 pupils and staff showing great determination and teamwork throughout. The Year 6 team impressed everyone with their confident passing, strong tackles and excellent sportsmanship, creating some fantastic goal-scoring opportunities and keeping the staff on their toes. The teachers responded with equal determination and narrowly secured the overall victory.

Although the staff took home the win, the afternoon was a wonderful celebration of a fantastic year for our Year 6 pupils. It was the perfect way to mark the end of their primary school journey, bringing pupils and staff together for an afternoon of fun, laughter and friendly competition. Well done to everyone who took part and to all the supporters who helped make the event so special!
