Year 6 vs Staff football 2025

On the penultimate day of their time at St. Stephen's Primary School, the excitement among Year 6 pupils was electric as they eagerly prepared to take on the school staff in a much-anticipated football match at Plashet Park. Bursting with energy and team spirit, the children set off in the afternoon, ready to showcase their skills and enjoy some friendly competition.

The event was brilliantly organised by Coach Ray, who worked closely with the Head of Year 6 and the rest of the Year 6 team to ensure everything ran smoothly. Each class took turns challenging the staff, displaying impressive teamwork, well-timed tackles, and some fantastic goals. Pupils cheered one another on from the sidelines, and the sense of camaraderie was clear throughout.

The afternoon concluded with a thrilling final match featuring some of Year 6’s most passionate footballers, who gave the teachers a real run for their money. Despite a closely fought contest, the teachers narrowly claimed victory—but the real win was the shared joy, laughter, and memories created.

It was a brilliant way to round off a remarkable year, giving Year 6 a send-off to remember.
