Year 6 visit to Regent’s Park

This term, Year 6 were fortunate enough to visit Regent’s Park and to attend an opera at the open air theatre for a performance of Hansel and Gretel. In the morning, we explored one of Britain’s most prestigious parks and took photographs of nature to be used in our art project. In the afternoon, we were mesmerized by the beauty of the outdoor theatre as many of us experienced opera for the first time. Watching this performance has also helped us enormously with our production, as we paid particular attention to the importance of acting at all times whilst on the stage and so it has proved a hugely beneficial part of our drama and arts curriculum.
