Year 6 trip to the Museum of London

On Wednesday 8th January year 6 went to the Museum of London. We did two activities. One was the Victorian Walk and the other was a Victorian based workshop. Our personal favourite was the walk because it took us back in time to the scenes of a Victorian street, such as the Barber’s and the Grocer’s and not forgetting the pub as you could go into. In addition, there was a room called the Bank Managers Office, it was the cleanest room we had ever seen.

The other activity was the workshop, where we learnt all about Victorians and their strange inventions. We investigated many peculiar objects from button hooks to objects of punishment. Finally, we had a quick visit to the shop.

In conclusion, we would like to say that we had a really enjoyable day and we would highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to be impressed and learn at the same time.
