Year 6 Residential to Fair Play House
On Monday 10th September 2012 most of the Year 6 children went to Fair Play House Outdoor Residential Centre. We travelled by coach, at nine-thirty, that morning. It was the opportunity of a life time! During our stay we took part in different activities such as high ropes, caving, mountain biking, tracking and a night walk.
Our first activity was tracking, which is basically a game of hide and seek in the woods. We had to make arrows across the floor so the other group had a clue where we were hiding because we were so well camouflaged!
The next activity was caving; the scariest bit of the cave was the part where we had to go around the whole complex with no lights on – it was pitch black! Then came the frightening squeeze, which started off big and then got smaller and smaller and smaller…
A great time was had by all.
