Year 5's trip to the Imperial War Museum

Year 5 were lucky enough to go to the magnificent Imperial War Museum on Wednesday 2nd March. We had the opportunity to attend a workshop about the Home Front during the Second World War where we developed our historical enquiry skills by gathering evidence from artefacts such as photographs, equipment, letters and other such rare materials. Moreover, we also had the chance to explore the fascinating museum which we all really enjoyed. It was a fantastic day and we are all hoping to go again soon with our parents!
