Year 5 and 6 Farm Residential

In autumn term, a mixture of Year 5 and 6 children attended a five-day farm residential with 4 staff members. They had the luxury of getting there on their own hired coach.

Our school has been visiting this working farm in Gloucestershire for many years now, where the children get to take part in farming activities. They get to do exciting tasks like weigh pigs, collect eggs, groom ponies and horses, feed the farm animals, collect and make apple juice etc.

The children thoroughly enjoyed their time there, making new friends, learning about the inner workings of a farm and creating new, wonderful and happy memories.
