Year 5 Junior Citizenship

On the 3rd of February 2016, the whole of Year 5 were lucky enough to attend a Junior Citizenship workshop sponsored by Tate and Lyle. On the day, we learnt from a variety of people who work in the services that keep us safe: firemen, policewomen and members of the NHS. We were part of an interactive, social experiment about the dangers we might face as young people in the community, with some shocking consequences! Moreover, we were given an opportunity to ask questions and seek advice from these brave people in order to ensure we are as knowledge about how to be safe as possible.
