Year 4’s Viking Adventure at Lesnes Abbey

Our Year 4 pupils had an unforgettable journey back in time during their immersive Viking experience at Lesnes Abbey! From whittling and crafting their own Viking pendants, to mastering the art of fire-starting and handling genuine artefacts, our young historians truly stepped into the world of the Vikings. This hands-on learning opportunity brought history to life, sparking curiosity and building essential skills in creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving. Learning is an adventure and our Year 4 Vikings proved just that!
