Year 4 and 5 Swimming Course

January 2022 marks the completion of the swimming course for our Year 4 and 5 pupils. 

We are fortunate to have the use of the London Aquatic Centre for our lessons. As the pandemic had blocked our current Year 5 pupils from attending swimming lessons previously, they were added to our swimming programme this academic year, along with the Year 4 pupils. 

It has been heartening to see the leaps of improvement that our Year 4 and 5 pupils have made. To help our pupils with swimming, our staff went into the pools with them, and we thank the staff for their constant dedication.

Swimming is a life-saving subject for our pupils, so we encourage this greatly. Has your child had swimming lessons outside of school? Why not try going to the local pools as a family? Just getting in the pool, splashing about and having some fun is a great start to building confidence. Half term break is coming up...​
