Year 3 visit the Natural History Museum
This half term, Year 3 have been learning all about dinosaurs. To further our learning, we went on a visit to the Natural History Museum in West London to see some dinosaurs for ourselves.
After the long tube journey, we were excited to see the dinosaurs and the other exhibits held in the museum. We looked at fossils found by the famous fossil hunter Mary Anning, and we also made some sketches of her most famous finds.
In the afternoon, we became Dino-Scientists! We were challenged to look at the features of different dinosaurs in the dinosaur gallery in order to identify them, all whilst wearing our white lab coats!
The overwhelmingly clear choice for our favourite part of the museum was the roaring T-Rex! Some of us were more than a little bit scared when he moved!
