Year 3’s Exciting Visit to London Zoo
The Year 3 children were thrilled to visit London Zoo—an experience that perfectly aligned with our current curriculum topic: biomes! Our adventure took us through a variety of habitats and ecosystems from around the world.
As we explored the zoo, we learned how animals adapt to their unique environments—from the scorching heat of the desert to the dense, green canopy of the rainforest. Each biome we encountered offered valuable lessons about biodiversity and the delicate balance that sustains life on Earth.
The walking tour provided a hands-on opportunity to deepen our understanding of ecosystems and the roles that different species play within them. We were especially fascinated by the animals' incredible adaptations and the ways in which these help them survive and thrive.
This unforgettable trip not only enriched our learning journey but also inspired a greater appreciation for the natural world and the importance of protecting it.
