Parents Workshop Website Blurb The Year 3 Team were thrilled to have parents join us for our Year 3 Parent Workshop where we delved into the captivating world of Ancient Egypt! Together, we explored the fascinating art of mummification. During this interactive workshop, parents had the opportunity to join their children in exploring the ancient art of mummification. Together, we learned about the rich history and cultural significance of mummification in ancient Egyptian society. Through hands-on activities and demonstrations, we discovered the meticulous process of preserving the body for the afterlife. From preparing the body to wrapping it in linen, we gained insight into the techniques used by ancient Egyptians. This workshop not only offered a unique learning experience for parents but also provided an excellent opportunity to engage with the children’s learning journey.
