Year 3 Tower of London

Year 3 had an exciting trip to the Tower of London! We set off around 9:20, with sandwiches and juice packed in our bags, and arrived around 10:00. The journey on the Tube and the walk through the city were full of excitement, with everyone enjoying views of the Thames and Tower Bridge along the way. At the Tower, the children were amazed by the grandeur of the Crown Jewels and the historic White Tower, navigating its narrow staircases with curiosity. Watching the Changing of the Guards brought the history to life, linking beautifully with our core book, The Queen’s Token. We had lunch together, enjoying a lovely break and delicious sandwiches amid a memorable day of history, learning, and fun.
