Year 3 Pirate Day!
Tuesday 18th SeptemberAhoy there me harties! Dressed as pirates, year three pupils and parents enjoyed the first themed day of the year. Working together, we all created Pirate Ship games using co-ordinates. Using the familiar game of Battleships as inspiration we decorated our games with pirate language and pictures. Then, using our knowledge of co-ordinates, we played against each other to try and sink our opponent's pirate galleons. Shouts of 'Miss!' and 'Abandon Ship!' could be heard all around the hall. Thank you to all the parents and children who made the effort to come in and dress up. We really appreciate you supporting your children's education and joining in the fun! What a great start to the year - we can't wait for the next one!
