Year 3 Lunar New Year Performance 2024

On Thursday 8th February, Year 3 put on a colourful performance to celebrate the Lunar New Year, which is celebrated in many countries such as China, Vietnam and Singapore. They showed the performance to other year groups and their parents after working extremely hard for several weeks. 

The performance started with a traditional dragon dance and the story of how the festival started. It ended with a Chinese fan dance and a song in Mandarin. 

While putting together this production, they learnt the value of teamwork and the importance of family and friends. These values are universal throughout all communities.
