Year 3 French Market Workshop

In Year 3 we have been learning all about the France in our Creative Curriculum topic, Vive La France! As part of our learning, we have been looking at the culture and way of life in regions of France and comparing it to Britain.

We found that French markets were an important part of a French life, so we decided to hold one ourselves! We invited parents to help us to sell various items to each other, with the challenge of making the most profit on your stall. However, we decided to make it even trickier by using "Euros" and trying to speak only in French!

Different stalls had varying levels of success, with some excellent profits being made on the chapeau (hat) and livres (book) stalls through some excellent offers and marketing!
