Year 2 Parent Assembly

What a wonderful performance. From singing to acting to dancing, the Year 2 parents were in for a real treat during this year's Year 2 parent assembly. The children told the story of the Nativity, explaining why Christians around the world celebrate this special festival. They also reminded us all of the importance of being accepting and open minded about our friends and people within our community and that we should celebrate difference and support each other always. The children sang a range of songs and re-enacted the journey Mary and Joseph took to Bethlehem. The costumes were also outstanding! They were lucky enough to be accompanied by the choir who sang in harmony and in rhythmical rounds. This was the perfect end to a busy term and, judging by the enthusiastic applause form the parents, we a pretty sure they agreed.
