Year 1 Visit The Library

Year 1 visited Green Street Library this week.  We walked from our school to the Library and we were greeted by the friendly Librarian. At the Library we did some exercises first, before we sat down to listen to a story.  After the story,  the Librarian explained how the Library is organised and how we can borrow books to take home. We took our Library cards with us, so we chose a book to take home. We enjoyed learning about the Library and we hope to visit again soon.
