Year 1 Parents Workshop: Tallest Free-Standing Tower

At the end of January, Year 1 held a parent workshop to help us focus on 'Homes and Buildings' which is our topic for this term. It was so good to see so many parents take this opportunity to come and work with their children. The five groups in each Year 1 class had a competition to see who could build the tallest free-standing tower in class using only tape and newspaper. A fun and challenging task for all!
