Y4 Vaisakhi Performance

On Thursday 21st March 2024, Year 4 came together to celebrate the vibrant and significant Sikh Festival of Vaisakhi. This festival holds great cultural and religious importance for the Sikh community worldwide, marking the creation of the Khalsa Panth and the harvest festival in Punjab, India.

Weeks of dedication and enthusiasm ended up with a spectacular performance that showcased the essence of Vaisakhi to fellow students and proud parents alike.

The performance commenced with a captivating retelling of the origins of Vaisakhi, acted with passion and enthusiasm. The audience was also treated to an energetic Bhangra dance and joyful singing.

Through their involvement in the production, Year 4 students not only gained a deeper appreciation for Sikh culture and traditions but also learned valuable lessons about cooperation, respect, and cultural diversity.
