Y3 Skateboarding

On Monday 19th January, Year 3 had an exciting day as they took part in a skateboarding workshop. For many children, it was their very first time on a skateboard, which made it extra exciting!

We began by learning about safety and made sure everyone wore helmets, knee pads and elbow pads. The coach taught us lots of new skills, including how to jump onto a skateboard with both feet and how to flip the skateboard over and land safely.

Although there were a few tumbles along the way, everyone had an amazing time learning new skills and having fun with their friends.
