Violet Court Care Home

To celebrate the festive season at St Stephen’s both Choir and Daycare had the privilege of singing at Violet Court Care Home in Stratford on Friday, 15 th December, 2017. The afternoon began with Daycare who sang When Santa got stuck up the chimney and Silver bells are twinkling. This was followed by a selection of Christmas songs sung by 17 members of the St Stephen’s Primary School Choir. The elderly thoroughly enjoyed the musical recital and showed their appreciation by singing and clapping along with the children. Afterwards, the children had the chance to exchange some kind words with the elderly people, wishing them a very happy Christmas and a relaxing New Year. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience for all ages and we hope to visit again in the Spring Term.
