United World Schools Charity Dinner
As you know, St. Stephen’s Federation has agreed to sponsor a new school in a remote part of Cambodia. We see this as a wonderful opportunity to help our children value their right to an education, through helping others.
On 11th November, we hosted a charity fundraising evening for this worthwhile cause and we would like to thank the generous parents who attended. The night had performances by singers, dancers and entertainers including Bollywood dancers and a Chinese Cultural show. Many Congratulations to Abida Bobat for winning the bake off competition, with her delicious chocolate cake.
The combined total made from ticket sales, donations and the charity auction came to a staggering £3300. We are thrilled that we have exceeded our target to support the Tae Le community in Cambodia and extend the right to education beyond the school gates. We would also like to thank those of you who donated raffle prizes or made food for the event. All money raised will go to this charity. For more information please see:
