The Snowman

We had a wonderful time visiting the Peacock theatre in Holborn last week to watch a stunning performance of The Snowman. We travelled from school on the District line and managed to make our way on foot from Holborn station through the bustling Christmas shoppers. When we arrived we quickly took our seats (which were in the front row) in anticipation of the start of the show. As the piano began to play the Walking in the Air theme tune, we were transported to a magical snowland where snowmen came to life, penguins could dance and children could fly. The set and the acting was superb and we were spellbound throughout the performance. We particularly enjoyed Santa’s jolly dance and the scene where both the Snowman and the boy fly across the stage above the audience. A fantastic time was had by all and we hope we can repeat this experience next year.
