Technopop

Years 2,3,4,5 and 6 were very excited at the idea of attending a pop up event in Stratford that promised to help them learn all about science, called Technopop.

Whilst at Technopop, the children took part in different workshops that helped them to understand different areas of science. The children spent the morning at box and rox followed by fabulous flyers - two workshops that promised to be great fun. During box and rox, they learnt all about being healthy and eating well by completing a treasure hunt and also having a workout themselves. Fabulous flyers was even better as made our own paper aeroplanes and modified them to help them fly further.

In the afternoon, the children watched a workshop called cloud factory. They saw how easy it was to make their own 'cloud' in a bottle, and were amazed by the properties of dry ice.
