Spreading festive cheer with a gift of a Christmas Hamper
The St. Stephen’s Federation has been busy spreading festive cheer this season. Each year group and staff team dedicated time and creativity to assembling beautifully presented hampers, thoughtfully made with a range of festive treats and carefully chosen luxury items. These hampers reflected not only the spirit of the season, but also the generosity and gratitude of the wider school community. Great care was taken with both the presentation and the contents, ensuring that every hamper felt special and meaningful to those who received it.
Some completed hampers were raffled during end-of-term assemblies, bringing excitement and joy to lucky families within each key stage. Others were gifted to members of our school community as a sincere thank you for their continued support throughout the year. In addition, hampers were delivered to the Salvation Army, helping to support their vital work with vulnerable individuals and families in the local area. Further hampers were presented to the NHS ambulance service and the hardworking domestic staff at Newham General Hospital in recognition of their dedication, compassion and tireless efforts, particularly during challenging times. Altogether, this initiative offered a meaningful opportunity for the school community to give back, strengthen local partnerships and share kindness and festive cheer beyond the school gates.
