Sports Day

On Monday 20th May, Year 5 and 6 set off for their sports day at Newham Leisure Centre. This was the last sports day for the Year 6 children so they were extremely excited and keen on winning as many events as possible. There was a fantastic turn out of parents and staff, which created an electric atmosphere. There were some brilliant competitions and close races! Every child was fully involved in a friendly but competitive environment.

Years 1 and 2 had their sports day on Tuesday 21st of May. It was a beautiful day at West Ham Park with yet again a fantastic turn out of parents getting involved and supporting the children. Every child was able to compete and try their best in every event. We ended the day with the 50M finals and our teachers vs parents race! Coach Siv managed to win, while running backwards.

On Wednesday 22nd May, Year 3 and 4 had their turn for sports day at the Newham Leisure Centre. For year 3, this was their first time at this venue. Lots of parents arrived to support and cheer on the children. We had some amazing competition in all the events. There were close calls and side by side races. The day ended with the much anticipated parents vs teachers race, which saw Redeemer fly to the finish line.
