Shrove Tuesday- Pancake Day!

On the 21st February, St Stephen’s was fortunate enough to celebrate the religious day of Shrove Tuesday, also known as Pancake Day. Shrove Tuesday is the celebration of the last day before Lent, a 40 day fasting period for Christians. As a school, it was safe to say that we did not expect what would happen. We were in for a really chocolaty treat. Our dessert would be pancakes with chocolate sauce! They were scrumptious! The pancakes were probably one of the best desserts that we have had in the history of the school. No doubt, everybody enjoyed it. 

A huge thanks to Sue and her team for putting in the time and effort to make the pancakes. The entire school was very grateful for their work and delicious pancakes!
