Secrets of the Amazon Parent Workshop

Year 5 were delighted to welcome parents into school for our recent 'Secrets of the Amazon' Parent Workshop, where children took part in a creative, hands-on learning experience inspired by the wonders of South America.

During the workshop, the children designed and made their own carnival masks, using a range of different stitching techniques to join, decorate and embellish their work. They showed fantastic creativity, concentration and perseverance while developing their design and technology skills and fine motor skills.

It was wonderful to see parents working alongside their children, sharing ideas and celebrating their achievements. Thank you to all the families who joined us and helped make the session such a success.
