Salvation Army

On Monday 30th of November, we went to a Christian church which is called the Salvation Army. When we entered inside the members, who worked there, greeted us kindly. Two of the members were Jean and Tony. We found that they shared very similar beliefs to our We Care mantra at school. They shared some useful information about why the Salvation was created and what is does today. We also enjoyed a break with drinks and a cake! Finally, we were retold the story of Zachias from the bible with Tony’s model characters. The moral of this story, and a key foundation of the Salvation Army, was to treat all people as you would want to be treated. Upon returning to school, we completed a large, two-page spread about the Salvation Army! We thoroughly enjoyed our informative trip.
