Safer Internet Day
On Tuesday 9th February, St Stephen’s hosted a session for parents in the hall about keeping children safe online. There were presentations by the Safer Schools Police and the Safer Resilience Team about the potential dangers of online communication and how parents can keep their children safe. Simultaneously, the Year 6 pupils received workshops from the Youth Offending Team about Anti-Social Behaviour, Gang Resilience and Joint Enterprise.
This event was very well attended and the parents had many questions for the expert panel. Leaflets on how to keep your children safe online are available from the school office. There will be a survey for parents to fill out with their children over the half term holidays. We would really appreciate you taking the time to do this as a family.
