SEND Swimming Lessons

This term, we are so lucky to have the opportunity to take some pupils in receipt of Higher Needs Funding to East Ham Leisure Centre for swimming lessons. The children are enjoying travelling to the Leisure Centre on public transport and becoming more independent in packing and unpacking their swimming kits. The children have lessons with a specialist swimming instructor and are learning lots of new water skills such as floating, blowing bubbles and kicking their legs. The adults are so proud of the children for being so brave when trying something new. We are excited to see how the children’s swimming skills progress over the next few weeks!
