Remembrance Day
On Monday 11th November, St Stephens Primary School, including the School Governors held a one minute silence to mark Remembrance Day. We all gathered together to remember all those who sacrificed themselves to protect us and our country in the world wars.
Throughout the week, St Stephens School immersed themselves in learning about Remembrance Day. Some classes have enjoyed making poppies whilst others have been learning about the significance of them. Pupils also learnt about the importance and purpose of Remembrance Day, why we hold a one minute silence and why it is recognised every year.
