Reception’s Traditional Dress Day

This half term, the Reception children have been reading all of the Knuffle Bunny books. In Knuffle Bunny Free, Trixie goes to visit her grandparents in Holland, which is very far away! She even goes on an aeroplane to get there! 

This week, we thought about our families who live all over the world. We celebrated the fact that we are all different and from lots of different places. On Thursday 14th October, we all came to school wearing our traditional clothes from our own cultures. We wore clothes from all over the world, including from Ghana, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India and Lithuania.We all looked fantastic and enjoyed learning about each other’s cultures and traditions.
