Reception's Phonics workshop

This week, the Reception teachers hosted a wonderful, fun-filled parent workshop all about how to make your child enjoy stories and blossom into the best reader.

The teachers and parents enjoyed sharing an interactive storytime, singing Nursery rhymes together and practising oral blending and segmenting. We practised the first set of sounds together and shared lots of ideas to use at home.

We are very grateful to all of our parents who attended the workshop for your dedication to supporting your child’s learning. We hope to see you all again soon to learn about Maths and Physical Development!
