Reception parent workshop - Transition to Year 1

Our Reception children are almost ready to move on to Year 1! We believe that our entire community is involved in supporting that transition and so on Monday 27th June, we held our final parent workshop giving our recommendations for how best our parents can support their children as they move on. We talked about the classrooms for next year, and about some of the things that will be changing in their timetable. We also shared where they can get more specific details about what they will be learning in Year 1 and gave packs to support this new learning. The parents were so happy to attend and we could all agree that we are very proud of the work and the progress our children have made this year. There was an opportunity to ask any questions and we were happy to answer them.
