Reception Pupils visit a Launderette

Our core book this half term is all about Trixie and her Knuffle Bunny. In the first story, Trixie goes on an errand with her dad, on a journey… to the launderette. We too went on a journey to the launderette. The children were very excited, looking at all of the places we passed along the way. The children were fascinated by the size of the enormous washing machines and tumble dryers that they saw. Best of all, it was our very own Knuffle Bunny who led the way on our journey. Adventuring with children is excellent for encouraging their curiosity and promoting the development of their language. Please take opportunities to turn your journeys into adventures!?
