Operation Egg Drop
School pupils and staff have enjoyed a whole school project - Operation Egg Drop! Pupils have shown deep levels of engagement and staff have embraced cross curricular, practical sessions weaved throughout the week. Pupils were tasked to protect an egg after being dropped from the Year 6 balcony. During the week, the children had to plan, design, bid for materials and make the product before testing them.
The pupils then evaluated their designs with some being more successful than others.
Overall, the staff and children​ found this an enjoyable and purposeful experience.
