Key Stage 1 Library Visit 2024
Last half term every Key Stage 2 class visited Green Street Library and now it is Key Stage 1's turn! Whilst there, we listened to a story and had an opportunity to browse the great selection of childrens’ books on offer! Lots of us were really organised and brought our library cards on the day of our visit which meant that we could borrow some books to take home and read later! Those of us who took part in the Summer Reading Challenge 2024 received our certificates for participating.
Nicola, who works in the library, was really pleased to see so many familiar faces. We are really lucky to have such a great library service on our doorstep and I hope all of our families make use of it to support and supplement your child’s reading! Every child in school is registered with Newham Libraries, and even if you’ve misplaced your library card, you can still borrow books using your full name and date of birth!
