KS2 Visit to Green Street Library
Year 3 and 4 recently enjoyed an exciting visit to Green Street Library, where the children had the opportunity to explore a wide range of books, learn how a library works, and discover the joy of reading. The visit helped the children spark their curiosity and encouraged them to become more independent readers. During the visit they browsed through different genres that matched their interests and were able to borrow books using their library card. Visiting the library taught the children the value of reading for both learning and enjoyment. It also showed them how libraries provide a quiet, welcoming space to study, explore new ideas and connect with the community.
