Jubilee Curriculum Week

With an amazing event taking place taking place between 2nd - 5th June across the country, St .Stephen's decided to celebrate the momentous occasion with a Platinum Jubilee themed week. The children can now confidently tell us about the Queen and how she is the first British monarch to reign for 70 years. 

During the week children from across the key stages learnt the national anthem as well as produced large artistic outcomes. We have models of the Queen's favourite corgis to portraits of royal family members. Year 1 even had the 'Queen,' 'Prince Charles' and 'Prince William' come to visit them for a question and answer session - it was thoroughly enjoyed by all.  

The week ended with a jubilee themed spelling bee - well done to all our winners!
