St. Stephen’s School community is extremely proud that Jo Mathias has been recognised with a ‘Teach First Mentor Recognition Award’ at the annual Teach First Award Ceremony this January. Jo has worked as a teacher in the school for many years and more recently has taken the role of School Mentor, supporting the school’s newest teachers. She has worked tirelessly to develop their teaching skills and pedagogical understanding over the past two years and this award is testament to her hard work and dedication. On behalf of the pupils, parents, staff and governors of St. Stephen’s, we would like to thank Jo for her excellent work.
